Summer Series event, Nettlebed, Wednesday 23rd June
Here is some information about the above event. Mass Start: 7:30pm
This coming Wednesday 23rd June the Summer Series event is at Nettlebed and Highmoor woods, courtesy of Nettlebed Estate. For most people, get to the roundabout just east of the village on the A4130 and turn south onto the B481. About 1 km south of the roundabout, at SU 703857, turn east onto the private road and park as soon as you can, to keep cars as close to the road as possible. The start will be immediately adjacent to the parking at 7.30pm. There will be the usual 3 courses using 3 loops, an easier one of 1.7km and 2 harder ones of 1.6 and 2.3km.
The pub afterwards is the Dog and Duck, Highmoor, which is about 1 km south of the parking. John and Ann Cook normally serve food until 8.30pm, so if you want a meal please phone or call in beforehand. The number is 01491 641 261. The menu can be viewed at www.thedogandduck.com.
