Saturday Series
TVOC runs a series of low key events, generally once a month, on Saturdays. These events are an exciting introduction to orienteering, and are aimed at children, families, beginners and improvers of all ages. More experienced orienteers are also welcome to attend.
Courses of all standards and help for beginners is available. Course lengths are normally upto Green standard, although the planner may offer a longer Light Green course for those wanting a longer run.
The normal cost for these events is £2 for adults and £1 for juniors.
Registration normally open from about 10am for an hour or so, and starts from 11am for an hour or so. No formalities, just turn up and enjoy.
Emit electronic punching is used at these events.
